Being able to know what to do with your time is very essential as a school learners, because it requires structure and organisation and how you manage your timr will determine your success in and out of the classroom.

6. Make a plan before going for shopping

Parents need to make a plan before shopping. This prevents them from over shopping and overbuying. Make a list of all the things that your child needs for school. Parents can get it from the child's class teacher. Teachers usually have a specific list of what the child needs in order for them to conduct lessons. Buying too many school items causes the learner to be overwhelmed and they are not sure of which items  to use specifically. 3. Backpack Safety

Choose a   backpack   w ith wide, padded shoulder straps and a padded back.  Organize your child's backpack to use all of its compartments. Pack heavier items closest to the centre of the back. The backpack should never weigh more than 10% to 20% of your child's body weight. Go through the pack with your child weekly, and remove unneeded items to keep it lite.
