8. A Homework And Study Habit Friendly Environment

Create an environment that is homework and study friendly starting at a young age, a place that is quiet, distraction free and promotes good studying habits. Strong rules like television and other electronic distractions stays off during homework and study time and supervision should be there for effective usage of time. Moreover, parents should always be available to assist and answer questions and if the child is struggling with a particular subject or topic the parent should speak or ask the teacher to help the child an extra mile. Finally, it is a parent's duty to ask or remind the children that they have homework and it should be done before the next school day, it is however recommended for children to/ rest after homework or study as it allows brain muscles to relax with no future stress of thought.
